Frequently Asked Questions - GAMMA

frequently asked questions (gamma)

Q. Can more than one person be listed as an owner of a GAMMA account?

A. Yes. Just like on a bond registration, you may establish a GAMMA with two or more owners, for the benefit of a minor, with TOD beneficiaries, etc. All assets purchased through this account must have the same registration as the name(s) listed on the GAMMA account.

Q. Is there a minimum to open the account?

A. No, there is no minimum deposit.

Q. When will I receive my statements?

A. Your account statements will be available 24/7 via our website. Unless you request a paper statement, this will be the only statement we provide.

Q. What if I still need a paper statement?

A. This is always available to you for a small fee of $25 per year.

Q. If I invest in Church bonds, is it true that there is absolutely no purchasing fee?

A. This is correct, as long as GoldStar Trust Company is the trustee for the Church bond issue. If you wish to use proceeds from your GAMMA to purchase a Church bond offered by a different trustee, there is a processing fee.
